The Macau Special Administrative Region Government conducts public consultation on modifying the "Maintenance of the National Security Law"

Huang Shaoze, the director of the Security Department of the Macau Special Administrative Region Government, said at the amendment of the Public Consultation Press Conference to Modify the National Security Law on the 22nd that the public consultation period of the amendment of the law was 45 days from August 22 to October 5th. Overcoming the problems and deficiencies of the existing laws, enable the law to reach the same level of maintenance of the relevant laws of the state and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, so that the Macau Special Administrative Region will fulfill the same national security standards, and comprehensively prevent and punish the national security crimes.

Huang Shaoze said that in order to effectively respond to complex and changeable security risks, effectively maintain the long -term stability of the country and Macau, and ensure that the cause of the "one country, two systems" is stable and far away.
