On August 18, the People's Procuratorate of Panyu District, Guangzhou City, and the Panyu Public Notary Office of Guangzhou City signed the "Measures for Criminal Compensation Margin Storage Works (Trial)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Work Measures"). It is understood that this is the first work mechanism for notarization to participate in the procuratorial assistance formed by the "notarized+procuratorial" signing form.

The two parties signed the province's first "Measures for Criminal Compensation Wonders (Trial)".

The deposit system for compensation margin refers to the qualified criminal case of criminal cases and defendants in the process of handling criminal cases. Or in order to avoid the compensation party's active performance after reaching an agreement, the suspect and the defendant will take the initiative to show the willingness to compensate, and the procuratorial organs shall pay a certain amount of compensation margin to the notary institution.

Cao Yongxiong, director of the Panyu Notary Office, said that the "Work Measures" is conducive to the efficient allocation of procuratorial resources and the expansion of the connotation of the notarization system. It is an important part of building a diversified solution mechanism for social contradictions and disputes.

It is understood that the "Work Measures" clarify the principles of criminal compensation margin deposit system, applicable conditions, application processes, and responsibilities of the agency. The aspect is clearly standardized.

Chen Hong, the prosecutor of the People's Procuratorate of Panyu District, said that the establishment of the "Work Measures" can ensure that compensation has channels, guarantees for compensation, and can effectively reduce detention and create conditions for the sentence to judge light suspension.
