The kindergarten and primary schools are currently preparing for the preliminary preparations in an orderly manner, and it is expected to be officially put in October. At this point, the six education supporting projects in the project have been completed.

It is reported that, as the largest shantytown reconstruction resettlement housing project in Hubei, there are 5 communities in the Gejian New City Resettlement Community Project. The total construction area is 2.536 million square meters, and more than 60,000 residents can be resettled. There are 5 kindergartens (one supporting kindergarten in each community) and 1 primary school (Geidian New City Community Supporting Primary School).

Among them, 5 kindergartens will have a total of 63 classes. The main functional rooms include living rooms, service management rooms, supply rooms, multi -functional activity rooms, etc. In particular, Geidian New Town Primary School is the only supporting elementary school in the Gejian New City Resettlement Community. A total of 36 classes in elementary schools are composed of three -type building corridors. There are 5 floors above the ground. The main functional rooms include various classroom rooms, administrative office rooms, public activities, canteens and wind and rain. The primary school will fill the gap in supporting hardware facilities for the supporting hardware facilities of community education in Geidian New City, significantly improved the level of people's livelihood supporting facilities.

Since September 2017, China Construction Third Urban Investment and Operation Company has successively completed the construction of 5 kindergartens, 2 primary schools, and 1 complete middle school construction of Zhangjiawan Community Supporting Kindergarten, Gejian Full Middle School, and Geidian Experimental Primary School.
