The Yangtze River Delta Sports Festival is a regional independent brand competition event jointly created and costed by the sports department of the three provinces of the Yangtze River Delta. It is of great significance to accelerate the construction of a higher -level national fitness public service system. The first Sports Festival was successfully held in Shanghai in 2021. The shooting Olympic champion Qiu Jian and the fencing Olympic champion Luo Xiaojuan, the heads of the relevant departments and units of Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Anhui Sports Bureau participated in the opening ceremony.
