The two -day 2022 Chengdu World Table Tennis Championship team ended on September 4th. Lin Gaoyuan won the last place to participate in the Chinese men's team, and Laoman won the alternate qualification to participate in the women's team competition on behalf of the Chinese team.

According to the selection method, the men's teams Lin Gaoyuan, Xiang Peng, Yuan Licen, Liu Dingshuo, Lin Shidong, Zhao Zihao, the women's team's Fan Siqi, Zhang Rui, Liu Weishan, Laoman, He Zhuojia won the qualifications to participate in this trial.

Earlier, the men's teams Fan Zhendong, Malone, Liang Jingkun, and Wang Chuqin have won the qualifications of participating in the World Table Tennis Championships on behalf of the Chinese team with their singles rankings. In the men's team, the six athletes were drawn into the two groups of A and B in accordance with the latest world ranking, and the first place in the two groups was played to make a knockout. The last place was decided.

Group A's Lin Gaoyuan and Zhao Zihao won one game on the 3rd. In the game that day, Lin Gaoyuan defeated Yuan Licen 3: 1 in the last round. In Group B, Lin Shidong was out in two games. At present, the Chinese women's team members who have participated in the World Table Tennis Championships are Sun Yingsha, Chen Meng, Wang Manyu, and Wang Yidi. According to the rules, whether Panman can be selected for the final lineup of the Chinese women's team depends on whether Chen Xingtong and Qian Tianyi have won the women's singles championship at Maskat Station in the World Table Tennis Professional League (WTT) Routine Challenge. Anyone among the two will win the World Table Tennis Championships to participate in the competition. If neither of them won the championship, Laoman was eligible for the competition.

The 2022 Chengdu World Table Tennis Championships will be held from September 30th to October 9.
