After 63 years of accumulation, the "Sports Hunan Army" changed from a pioneer team that protruded in the international and domestic sports world to the common code of every Hunan sports participant, practitioners, and supporters.

Looking back at the past 63 years, the 13th Provincial Games, in the history of Hunan Sports, leaves deep traces of each step.

Many "first time", leaving inheritance and accumulation

On May 3, 1959, the First Sports Conference of Hunan Province opened at the Hunan Provincial Stadium. The competition set up 24 major items. This is also the first sports event in the provincial game sequence. Sports talents from Sanxiang's land began to have a provincial stage to show themselves.

The third Provincial Games in 1974 was a dividing line. From this year to 1980, the Provincial Games initially formed a four -year tradition. Since then, the Provincial Games has also experienced three adjustments to hold time. From the 5th Provincial Games in 1980 to the 6th Provincial Games in 1986, the 7th Provincial Games in 1990 to the 8th Provincial Games in 1996, and then to the 9th Provincial Games in 2002 Six years. In the Fourth Provincial Games in 1978, a new model of sharing the competition started. Forty years later, the 13th Provincial Games jointly organized by Hengyang and Shaoyang, Zhuzhou and Zhangjiajie undertook the competition of golf and kayak -kayak rotation projects. This year's Provincial Games, these two projects were held in Changsha and Xiangxiang Branch.

In 1986, the 6th Provincial Games was held in Xiangtan. This is the first time that the provincial and hosted cities have settled out of the provincial association Changsha. Since then, the previous provincial games have been held in Shaoyang, Changde, Yiyang, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Loudi, and Hengyang, which not only brought high -level sports events to all parts of the province, and improved the level of urban construction. According to the rules of the adult competition of the Provincial Games, except for professional athletes in service, anyone else, including retired sports stars, is eligible to participate in the competition. Sports is a big stage.
