Recently, the Shandong men's Yellow River drifted more than 200 kilometers from Jinan to Dongying's video, which attracted the attention of netizens. On August 31, the man, Mr. Wu, told Jimu Journalists that he was 51 years old and grew up on the Yellow River since he was a child. He had deep feelings with the Yellow River. This drift was to challenge himself. After that, he planned to go to Xiangjiang to complete a drift.

In the video, in the turbulent Yellow River flowing, a man scratched a rubber boat across a bridge, and the watershed in the place where the boat passed. In the comment area, some netizens praised their guts and expressed their admiration. Many people are concerned, "The drifting of the Yellow River is too dangerous, pay attention to safety."

On the morning of August 31st, the man in the video Mr. Wu told Jimu Journalists that he was 51 years old and was a native of Jinan. He grew up on the Yellow River since he was a child and had deep feelings for the Yellow River. On the morning of June 30 this year, he packed up his equipment and food, set off from Jinan by rubber boats, drifted along the Yellow River to Dongying, the whole process of more than 200 kilometers, which lasted two days and one night. Mr. Wu said that he drifted during the day and his sight was not good at night. When he was about to be dark, he would go ashore and eat and sleep on the river bank.

The Yellow River is turbulent, and drifting is not an easy task. Mr. Wu has also had a thrilling moment. "Drilling the bridge is quite dangerous, the water flow is very urgent, and the boat is fast. You have to estimate the width of the bridge cave three or four hundred meters in advance in order to ensure the smooth pass." Mr. Wu said that he drifted in the Yellow River for the first time in 2016. In 2018, he drifted again in the Yangtze River. He also accumulated some experience for this trip two times before, allowing him to go ashore smoothly on the afternoon of July 1.

Recalling the entire drift process, Mr. Wu said he was proud, "I'm not young, and watching these drift videos when I get old is also a precious memory." He admits that the Yellow River drift is a risky thing. The family and friends are very dangerous and do not support him. But he hopes to challenge himself in such a way. Next time, he intends to go to Xiangjiang to complete a drift.

On the morning of August 31st, the reporter learned from the Shandong Yellow River River Affairs Bureau of the Yellow River Water Conservancy Committee that there are currently no regulations on approval and reporting of personal behavior of the Yellow River drifting. However, from the perspective of security management, because of security considerations, they are resolutely not allowed to do such activities, and they will be discouraged for personal drift.
