The International Wrestling Competition of the Fifteenth National Games of Gansu Province started on August 28th

The international wrestling competition of the 15th Gansu Provincial Games Youth Group officially started at the Lanzhou Sports School on August 28. There were 39 projects in this competition. There are 319 athletes from 13 teams and states from all over the province will start a 3 -day wonderful competition.

International wrestling is one of the oldest competitive projects in the world. Ancient civilizations in China, Japan, Greece, and Egypt have wrestling text records. There are two types of competition forms: classical and free -form, and the competition is divided into level. The competition is performed on a 12 -meter -long pad on each side, and a circle with a diameter of 9 meters in the middle of the pad is the competition area. Athletes must wear red or blue wrestling clothes during the game, and shoes are flat soft boots. There are two rounds per game, 3 minutes per round, and 1 minute rest in the middle.
