Are you ready for the Paris Olympic Games Perak Dance Qualification Competition?

The 2024 Paris Olympic Games Perak Dance Project Qualification Competition has begun, and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has approved the relevant match period from July 2022 to June 2024.

Eligibility for the Paris Olympic Games

The Paris Olympic Games will be held from July 26th to August 11th, 2024. At that time, there are 16 Perak dancers each of men and women, with a total of 32 people. They will be divided into 1VS1 battle at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The 32 Perak Dancers who are eligible to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games will choose through the following events:

20 (10 men and women) Perak dancers obtained Olympic vouchers through the Olympic Qualification Series (OQS);

10 (5 men and women) Perak dancers directly advance to the Olympic Games through the Intercontinental Games/Intercontinental Championships;

Two (1 man and woman) Perak dancers directly advanced to the Olympic Games through the 2023WDSF World Championships.

Olympic Qualification Series (OQS)

The Olympic Qualification Series (OQS) is a new Olympic qualification series led by the International Olympic Committee. It is aimed at the four projects: Perak dance, free -style wheels, skateboarding and sports climbing. The Olympic Qualification Series (OQS) period is from March to June 2024 to June 2024. It is in the final stage of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games Perak Dance Project Qualification Competition, only one month before the opening of the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

A total of 40 Perak dancers are eligible to participate in the Olympic Qualification Series (OQS). They will come from:

2023WDSF World Championships 5th athletes;

15 athletes wins the Intercontinental Games/Intercontinental Championships in 2023;

Breaking for Gold (BFG) ranked among the top 14 athletes in the ranking; and 6 athletes who participated in the host quota and universal quotas.

The BFG rankings will rank based on the cumulative points of the Intercontinental Championship and the BFG series. The BFG series will begin in September 2022 and end on December 31, 2023. For the BFG series, the most ranking points will be awarded in the BFG World Series, followed by the BFG International Series, and finally the BFG Challenge Series. The first game was WDSF BREAKING for Gold Challenge Series, which will be held in Montreal, Canada on September 4, 2022.

At the same time, the Intercontinental Championship will be open to the Perak dancers nominated for all countries/regions (NMB) of all continents, and will provide the same ranking points as the World Series.

World Championship/Intercontinental Games

The 2024 Paris Olympic Games Direct Local Equipment (that is, the World Championships and Intercontinental Games) will be held in 2023. In 2023, the winners of the European Games, Asian Games and Pan -American Games will directly win the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The winners of the African and Oceania (to be determined) will also be promoted to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Due to some countries/regions around the world, due to the new crown epidemic, in order to allow the thunderous dancers to participate in the qualification competition as much as possible, the World Sports Dance Federation (WDSF) decided to host the World Perak Dance Championships and WDSF in Seoul, South Korea. Breaking for Gold World Series, this will be the highest point of points.

In the previous conventional World Championships, member institutions of each country/region can only send two male and female athletes to participate in each. The above -mentioned events held in October this year will be opened to all Perak dancers to compete for the qualifying for the qualifications in order Participate in OQS events.

According to the provisions of the World Championships, a total of 4 athletes nominated by WDSF member units, a total of 4 athletes, will provide accommodation during the event for free, and other personnel will bear their own expenses by the member unit.
