Pu'er City delegation competed for the 16th Games of Yunnan Province

At 20 o'clock on August 8, the 16th Games of Yunnan Province opened at the Yunnan Yuxi Plateau Sports Center.Pu'er City sent 285 athletes to participate in 12 items including track and field, weightlifting, shooting, archery, boxing, gymnastics, fencing, tennis, sand row, basketball, football, swimming, etc.

It is understood that the provincial games have four groups, university groups, employee groups, and public groups. They are divided into 3 stages. More than 19,000 athletes from 16 states (cities) in the province are in 43 large athletes in the province.The items and 1035 small items started fierce competition.At present, the youth group's archery, shooting, boxing, judo, football, iron men and other competitions have begun.In the first stage of the competition, the Pu'er Sports delegation has won 6 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals. Among them, the gold winning project is archery, beach volleyball, and gymnastics.

After the opening ceremony, 11 projects such as basketball and fencing have opened comprehensive competitions. The Pu'er Sports Team competed in multiple items such as basketball, fencing, track and field.
