According to statistics, in the youth group bicycle competition of the 15th Gansu Provincial Games, Lanzhou City won 2 gold and 1 silver, Dingxi City won 1 gold, Tianshui City won 1 silver, Pingliang City won 1 silver The city got 1 copper.

The mountain bicycle movement was derived from the off -road venue on the motorcycle competition to drive bicycles in order to seek stimuli. The earliest riding a mountain bicycle to off -road is a student at the University of California, Scott, the first person to convert ordinary bicycles into mountain bikes. In the future, the off -road movement gradually became popular in Europe and the United States and formed a event. In 1990, the International Bicycle Alliance acknowledged the sport and held the World Cup for the first time in 1991.
