According to the Book of Rites · Monthly, the Zhou Dynasty listed wrestling, archery and driving as a military training program. In the half -century from the end of Qin to Emperor Han Jing, wrestling activities were at a low tide. In 140 BC, when Emperor Hanwu, the wrestling activities prevailed again. In the Jin Dynasty, wrestling competitions were mostly held in the Lantern Festival. In the Tang Dynasty, most of the competitions were held in the spring and autumn seasons, and it was also used as a project for court entertainment. During the Five Dynasties, the wrestling technology emphasized lightweight and agile.

Retrospective

On June 13, 2022, the Chinese Wrestling Competition of the 15th Gansu Provincial Games officially started at Lanzhou Sports School. This competition is divided into men's youth, men's youth games, women's youth competitions, and women's youth games. A total of 24 projects are set up. A total of 140 athletes from 10 teams from cities and states in the province launched a three -day fierce competition.

According to statistics, in the 3 -day competition, Jinchang City won 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 copper, Wuwei City obtained 3 gold and 5 copper, Jiuquan City won 2 gold and 2 silver, Dingxi City won 2 gold and 2 copper, Tianshui City won 1 gold, 1 gold obtained 1 gold 3 silver 4 copper, Zhangye City obtained 1 gold, 3 silver and 3 copper, Lanzhou City obtained 1 gold, 2 silver and 6 copper, Qingyang City obtained 2 bronze, and Lanzhou New District obtained 1 bronze.

The whole process of this competition adopts a closed -loop management. At the scene of the competition, every athlete is holding a red heart to chase dreams. They dare to "bright swords", strong and weak, do not retreat, meet strong encounters, and meet the narrow roads to meet each other. The spirit of the brave victory has emerged many excellent seedlings. In the future, they may also represent Gansu to a larger stage.

Chinese -style wrestling is an ancient sports, with deep cultural heritage, super vitality, and has a history of thousands of years in my country. In the 1950s, after the introduction of international wrestling in my country, in order to distinguish between the two forms of domestic and international wrestling, the traditional wrestling of our country was called "Chinese wrestling". In the field of the Fifteen Games of Gansu Province this year, Chinese wrestling as one of the competition projects also allowed more people to understand and learn the cultural charm of this traditional Chinese sports.
