Heilongjiang: "Happiness Smile -Rescue Children Clearing Children" Public Welfare Project Start

Recently, the Heilongjiang Provincial Family Planning Association launched the "Happy Smile -Children with Clearing Lip and Patfront" project in 2022 to help children in poverty -stricken areas for family planning families with cleft lip and palate children with free restoration of plastic surgery.

The project has been implemented in Heilongjiang Province for many years, and has rescued more than 400 children. The family's families have not afforded medical expenses and can enjoy subsidies such as nutritional subsidies.

In 2022, the Provincial Family Planning Association cooperated with the China Population Welfare Foundation and Harbin Medical University Sixth Hospital to carry out the project across the province. Leited by the Municipal Family Planning Association, and the city and county medical institutions, maternal and child health care and family planning service centers to complete the investigation of poverty -stricken lip and palate children's survey, screen and diagnosis of the sixth hospital affiliated to Harbin Medical University, and determine children who meet the conditions of surgery as the project rescue object. The project will also gradually establish a long -term mechanism for medical assistance for children with cleft lip and palate in poor families to bring the gospel to more patients.
