According to the British "Mirror" reported on June 13, a family from North Wales from the United Kingdom raised a pet cat, but was reported by the neighbors. The reason was that the neighbor suspected that the cat was a rare wild animal in the United Kingdom Scotch wild cat. They believed that the breeder raised wild animals without a legal license.
After receiving the report, the police handed the cat to the relevant experts for identification. Investigators found that its wild cat gene ratio was very low, which was not enough to regard it as a Scotch wild cat. In fact, it was a tabby cat.
It is understood that Scottish wild cats are similar to large tabby cats. Its fur is much thicker than domestic cats, with obvious black and brown stripes, and a thick tail. It is aggressive when protecting yourself or cubs. Today, due to the loss of habitats and human activities, the Scottish wild cat is endangered.
A spokesman said: "Although the law allows wildlife to rescue and take care of wildlife, we recommend communicating with relevant departments as soon as possible to prevent illegal acts raising wildlife." (Compiled by China Youth Network)
