The Embassy in Serbia reminds Chinese citizens to be alert to new types of online fraud -exchange exchange for two scams

Recently, Belgrade had a exchange fraud case against Chinese citizens: Chinese citizen A wanted to replace the euro with RMB, contact Chinese buyer B through WeChat, and the two sides agreed to trade in person. After receiving A's euro cash, B transferred the corresponding amount of RMB to the agreed account in advance, but A standing in front of B did not receive remittances. The two sides knew behind the WeChat identity that they were deceived by two different WeChat signals.

Fraud: Liar (impersonating state -owned enterprise employees) posted foreign exchange trading information in the WeChat group. After obtaining the trust of the seller and buyer, two different WeChat signals were used to conduct the trading of both parties to the buyer and seller in person. The scammers are named "the benefits of the benefits and cannot be said to the outside world", and the buyers and sellers are required to trade only transactions and not speaking. As a result, the salesperson paid the cash, but could not receive the RMB that the buyer had already transferred; or the buyer paid the RMB, and the seller refused to pay foreign currency because he could not find the account. There are always one party to be deceived, and the scammer's success rate is extremely high.
