At the moment before the disaster, he also gave his family a grinning laughter to his family. Selfie and leave a message: "See where I am!". In the selfie, Filippo grinned with a helmet and sunglasses. The background was hillside and glaciers. But after this news, Filippo's family never received any news from Filippo, and they became more and more worried about his safety.

Filippo climb Malmorada Mountain with a group of friends. This mountain is located in the northeast of Italy with an altitude of about 3343 meters. It is the highest peak in the Baiyun Stone Mountains. On the same day, a glacier collapse on the mountain triggered an avalanche. On July 3, Filippo's remains were found on the mountain.

Filippo's brother said: "Filippo is a great climbing enthusiast. He originally planned to climb this week to climb the Monte Rosa Peak across Italy and Switzerland."
