Xinhua News Agency, Tashkeng, July 5 (Reporter Cai Guodong) Uzbekistan Foreign Affairs Department said on the 5th that five rockets suspected to be launched from Afghanistan fell on the southern border town of Wulmez.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Ukraine said that the rockets fell at the border area around 16:20 local time on the 5th, four of which fell in a residential area and one fell on the football field.Rockets did not explode, did not cause casualties, and four houses were slightly damaged.
The statement said that the competent department of Uzbekistan was taking necessary measures with Afghanistan to find out the cause of the incident.
In southern Uzbekistan, it borders Afghanistan. In recent years, Ufang has participated in construction projects in the Afghan railway and electricity fields.
