This discovery was published on the 4th in the international journal "Forefront of Plant Science". At present, there are three giant water lilies in the world, namely "Amazon Wang Lotus", "Cruz Wang Lian" and "Bolivia Wang Lian". Studies have found that Bolivia Wanglian and Cruz Wang Lian have been closely related, and the two have evolved separately 1 million years ago. Earlier, Bolivia Wanglian has been mistaken for one of the two other types of water lilies.
