Germany is finally back to

The statue of the goddess of NGONNSO stolen by German colonists 120 years ago will be returned to Cameroon.

According to Reuters reported on June 27, the German Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation said on Monday that as part of the actions of theft cultural relics during the colonial period, Germany will return to the statue of the NGONNSO goddess stolen from Cameroon 120 years ago.

According to reports, the statue of the goddess of NGONNSO was plundered from the NSOs of Cameroon to Germany by the German colonial official Kurto von Pavil in 1903, and then Pavili donated it to the Berlin National Museum.

In a statement, the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation argued that the statue of the goddess of the NGONNSO was not obtained by war plunder. However, Reuters said that Pavil was accompanied by a fully armed soldier during the Cameroon.

Reuters said that Germany was the third largest colonial country after the United Kingdom and France, but lost all the colonies after the First World War. At present, the German museums are still collecting many famous cultural relics, such as part of the Iraqi Babelnmen exhibited at the Berlin Picon Museum.
