David Mills was born in Scotland, England. He came to work in China in 2006. At the age of 39, he has lived in Zhengzhou, Henan for 16 years.
David met with his wife Shang Na while teaching at the university. Shang Na was committed to the research and dissemination of the aesthetic culture of the Song Dynasty. David was influenced by his wife, David had a strong interest in Chinese culture, especially tea culture. In 2019, David and his wife went to Wuyishan to pick up tea and try to make Song Dynasty research cream tea. Later, under the guidance of his wife, David learned the "Qi Tang Dian Tea" skills. After repeated practice, his tea making skills were skilled.
In these 16 years, David found more and more young people in various ways to express their love for traditional culture in various ways. David used his computer programming expertise to start the establishment of a website platform to spread traditional Chinese culture. He and his wife also planned to make the Song Dynasty "tea" to create dance and spread through new media such as live broadcasts. "I love Chinese culture, I hope to share Chinese culture with the world." David said.
