According to the Iranian Republic News Agency, the earthquake occurred at 8:07 local time (11:37 Beijing time), and the epicenter was 25 kilometers northeast of Kish Island, with a depth of 22 kilometers.

It is reported that the person in charge of a medical institution on Kashi Island said that the casualties caused by the earthquake include 19 men and 12 women. All hospitals in Kish Island are on standby and deal with emergencies at any time.
