[Global Times Comprehensive Report] Germany's "Berlin Daily" reported on the 21st that a survey report recently released by the Friedrich Naiman Foundation in Germany shows that the influence of Europe and the European Union in Africa is rapidly weakening, and China is currently being Rise. The survey is more than 1,000 decision makers from 25 African countries and 12 other countries, including managers, journalists, entrepreneurs, and employees organized by non -governmental organizations.
The report said that many African decision makers may think that EU countries have advantages in cultural, human rights, and transparency. However, China surpasses Europe in terms of efficiency, speed, and reliability of investment and cooperation. China's "non -interference in the principle of internal affairs" (which is widely known as "hardware"), challenges the EU's "value -dominated system" (widely known as "software").
The survey results show that 75.2%of people believe that China usually makes investment decisions faster, and it feels that the EU is only 55.8%faster. In terms of rapid completion of projects, China is also leading, and more than 80%of people recognize it. The EU has only received less than 70%of the respondents recognized.
In terms of hardware quality, an employee from Naiman Foundation from Nairobi said: "The Chinese train line between Nairobi and Monbara is operating." At present, no one knows that the infrastructure project funded by China is in ten years or ten What will it look like five years later, but it is clear: "The Chinese are promoting a long -term strategy in Africa."
The participants of this survey acknowledged that European -oriented policies focusing on human rights, democracy, education, health, and sustainability, these policies are "parent". About 65%of respondents believe that the Chinese do not interfere with the internal affairs of African countries. About half of the interviewees believe that Europeans do not do so.
"Berlin Daily" said that until now, when the Europeans' business in Africa decline, it will still comfort themselves by accusing China of poor infrastructure in Africa, or "debt trap", and predict that Africa will stay away from China again. Unfortunately, this confidence is unique. The results of the above survey may shake the decision makers of European countries. In 2000, China is the largest trading partner of a few countries. Now, China is the most important trading partner of almost all African countries. (Zhao Dong)
