Wang Wenbin: A few days ago, during the attending the UN General Assembly in New York, Wang Yi's State Councilor and Foreign Minister were the leaders, politicians and foreign ministers such as Serbia, France, Malta, Britain, Portugal, Norway, Poland, Hungary, Germany, and foreign ministers and EU diplomacy and security. A meeting of senior policies held a wide, in -depth, and frank communication to enhance mutual understanding, promote pragmatic cooperation, and respond to common challenges, and fully reflects China ’s emphasis on the development of Sino -European relations.

The State Councilor of Wang Yi pointed out that, as the two important forces in the multi -pole world, China and the European Europe should adhere to the basic positioning of mutual strategic partnership and maintain a good momentum of dialogue communication. It is believed that the EU will adhere to strategic autonomy and jointly promote Sino -European relations. The European side expressed its emphasis on the development of relations with China, reiterating to adhere to a Chinese policy, look forward to communicating with China frankly, and deepening cooperation in related fields.

At present, dialogue cooperation is the leading side of China -EU relations. Mutual and win -win is the main tone of China -EU cooperation. From January to August this year, China -Europe trade volume increased by 8.8%year -on -year, and the EU's investment in China increased by 123.7%year -on -year. The China -Europe trains operated more than 10 days earlier than last year. The two sides reached a series of achievements and consensus on macroeconomic policy coordination, industrial chain supply chain cooperation, World Trade Organization reform, expanding market opening up, implementation of the China -Europe geographical logo agreement, animal and plant inspection and quarantine, two -way opening and regulatory cooperation in the financial industry.
