Droughts appeared in many places in northern India this year, and the rice production in the northern state of the rice production was the most serious in drought. Official data show that the price of broken rice in India this year has soared by 38%, and exports have risen all the way. From April to August, exports rose sharply from 1.58 million tons a year ago to 2.13 million tons. On the 9th of this month, the Indian government ordered the ban on exports, and most of the broken rice was used as feed for the livestock and poultry breeding industry. Affected by the export ban, the supply of broken rice on the market is sufficient and the price has declined. In terms of grain exports, not all types of rice are prohibited from exports.

At present, India levies 20%of tariffs on rice exports other than rice. Earlier this year, India has ordered prohibited export wheat. The Indian government hopes to ensure domestic food supply through this series of measures.
