According to the news released by the Ministry of Science and Technology Information and Communication and the South Korean Aviation Universe Research Institute, at 16:00 on the 21st local time (15:00 Beijing time), the Rockets launched in the Luo Lao Aerospace Center of Jeollaan Road, South Korea. Verify satellites successfully entering the scheduled track. At present, South Korea's Antarctic Shizong Science Base has realized the early ground station communication with the satellite, and the satellite position has been confirmed.
The Ministry of Science and Technology Information and Communication of Korea said that as of 2027, the South Korean government plans to launch 4 more times to enhance the launch reliability.
South Korean President Yin Xiyue said that South Korea's road to the universe has opened, and in the future, it will work hard to develop South Korea's aerospace industry to the world's leading level.
The "World" is a third -level launch vehicle, with a total weight of 200 tons and can be delivered to the track of 1.5 -ton satellites to the orbit 600 to 800 kilometers from the ground. The "World" was launched for the first time on October 21, 2021, but because the third -level engine fuel was exhausted in advance, the model satellite carried by the Rockets was not sent to the scheduled track.
