Xinhua News Agency, Geneva, September 20th. On the 19th, Chinese representatives spoke at the interactive dialogue between the 51st session of the UN Human Rights Council with arbitrary detention issues, which strongly condemned the arbitrary detention of the United States for a long time.

Chinese representatives said that in 2021, there were more than 1.7 million US -detention immigrants, and 80%were detained in private detention facilities, including 45,000 children. The conditions for private detention facilities were bad, and the physical and mental health of the detained personnel was greatly harmed, and the phenomenon of infringement of human rights was repeatedly occurred. Nearly 5,000 children were detained alone in Bridburg. They lived in crowded and bad environments like "livestock enclosure", causing serious physical and mental trauma. In the past 20 years, the United States has detained some people in Guantanamo Prison without trial. In January of this year, the special mechanism expert group issued a statement saying that Guantanamo Prison was "the US government's stain on the law of rule of law" and urged the United States to end "the ugly page of human rights violations of human rights." China urges the United States to face the issue of human rights, stop arbitrarily detaining human rights such as immigration, and providing relief and compensation to victims.
