According to Japanese media, "Namma" may be the most destructive typhoon that Japan has encountered in decades. At present, the typhoon has caused at least 2 deaths and 1 disappearance.

The Japan Meteorological Agency warned that the Kyushu area was facing the danger of "unprecedented" by strong winds, storms and rainstorms, saying that the storm was "very dangerous".

According to the news of Miyazaki County Disaster Control Headquarters, at 7 am on the 19th, the fire brigade reported the landslide of Changtian in Miyoshi Town. A gentle slope behind the local elementary school collapsed about 15 meters wide, and a man in his 40s disappeared.
