RT pointed out that since the outbreak of Russia and Ukraine in late February, Hungary has maintained a relatively neutral position, refused to send weapons to Ukraine, and criticized the EU's sanctions on Russia. In addition, Hungary, relying on Russian energy through negotiations, obtained exemptions in the European Union's oil embargo in Russia. Earlier this month, Mikurash Beck, who was responsible for European affairs, warned that Hungary's position on Russia may theoretically lead Hungary to withdraw from the EU. (Edit: HHJ)
