The European Parliament approves a assistance plan for providing 5 billion euros loans to Ukraine

On September 15, local time, the European Parliament approved the European Commission to provide a macro financial assistance plan for 5 billion euros loans to Ukraine.

This is the second batch of the total amount of 9 billion euros of macro financial loans provided by the European Union for Ukraine. The first batch of 1 billion euros loans had been paid to the Ukrainian government before.

On the same day, the European Parliament plenary conference was held in Strasbourg, France, and the meeting voted the assistance plan based on emergency procedures.
