Local time on Monday night, the Meteorological Bureau issued severe thunderstorm warnings near the northwest of Barc. On the morning of the 13th local time, the farmer David Slaide found a cow and a calf died.

Slaide said the storm was the worst one he had seen for many years.

"Thunder and lightning are terrible. I have never seen such lightning for a while." He said, "About 50 thunders around the house."

Slaide said that the last loss of animals due to lightning strikes was 28 years ago.

Dr. Enque Bergman said that in the past 20 years, he has often seen some animal corpses killed by lightning strikes in Western Australia.

Bergman said that animals are hit by lightning and death. "If the fence is hit, the current will be transmitted along the fence, which will affect many animals."

"The current tends to pass the path with the smallest resistance, so if you have a wooden fence and no good ground piles, it is more likely to conduct the current and become a larger attraction for lightning strikes."
