Russian scientists warn: a satellite in the United States has disintegrated on the track, endangering other spacecraft

Overseas Network, September 11th. According to today's Russian TV website website, on the 10th local time, Russian scientists warned that a satellite in the United States occurred partly on the track and endangered other spacecraft.

Scientists at the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences said that some disintegration was the Galaxy 11 Earth Synchronous Communication Satellite operated by the International Communication Satellite (Intelsat), which was launched in 1999.

Russian scientists said that through the telescope, the Galaxy 11 satellites were partially disintegrated, and the fragments generated on the orbit of other satellites constituted a potential threat.It is not clear the cause of the disintegration of satellites, but it is suspected to be related to the aging of the thermal insulation layer, solar panel or other equipment of the satellite.(Overseas Network Li Meng)
