Putin attended the opening ceremony of some sections of Moscow-Kazan Highway

Xinhua News Agency, Moscow, September 8th (Reporter Huadi) Russian President Putin attended Moscow-Kazan Highway and Ural Expressway some new road sections and maintenance sections, as well as the opening ceremony of the Youth Highway.

According to the Russian Presidential website, the first section of the Moscow-Kazan Highway was 23 kilometers long. The Moscow-Kazan Highway will connect to Moscow and Kazan, the capital of Russia, passing through Moscow, Vladimir, Navegorod, the Republic of Chushay, and the Republic of Pharma, and connect a total of 17 regional centers. After completion, the road schedule from Moscow to Kazan will be shortened from 12 hours to 6.5 hours.

It is reported that the Moscow-Kazan Highway is part of the Russian section of the Russian section of the "Western Europe-Western China" ("Two West Highway"). The "Shuangxi Highway" starts from Lianyungang in the east, and in the west to St. Petersburg, Russia, passing through dozens of cities in China, Kazakhstan and Russia, with a total length of 8445 kilometers. At present, this project has been included in the modernization and expansion plan of the Russian federal transportation infrastructure.
