Syrian Aleppo International Airport has been forced to close by missile attacks

The Syrian military issued a statement on September 7 that Israel has once again hit the Aleppo International Airport in the northern Syrian town again, causing the airport to be forced to close.

The statement said that at 20:16 on the 7th, Israel launched several missiles to Aleppo International Airport from the Mediterranean in the west of Latakia, Syria, which caused damage to the airport runway and was forced to close.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Transport of Syria announced that all the take -off and landing flights and planned flights through the Aleppo International Airport will be transferred to Damascus International Airport.

On August 31, Israel attacked the southeast of the Syrian Capital Damascus and Aleppo International Airport, causing some facilities to damage. After the Syrian civil war broke out in 2011, the army has repeatedly used the target of Syria on the grounds of cracking down on Iranian military facilities. Both the Syrian and Iranian governments denied that Iran had a garrison in Syria.
