"Islamic State" claims to attack the Russian embassy in Afghanistan, Gutres strongly condemn

Afghanistan Pajavak News Agency reported on the 6th that the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) announced its responsibility to the incident.

According to a spokesman for Kabul Police, an attacker carrying a suicide bomb tried to rush to the main entrance of the Russian Embassy. The guard identified the attacker and fired at him, but the bomb still exploded. It is reported that the explosion was the first time that Taliban entered Kabul and mastered the Afghanistan in August last year. That night, the "Islamic State" announced that it was responsible for the attack through social media. Afghan Interim Government Acting Foreign Minister Mutaki expressed condolences to the Russian side, saying that the Afghan government will do everything possible to ensure the safe operation of the embassy in Afghanistan. A Fu's Foreign Ministry spokesman said that Afghanistan has a good relationship with Russia, and the two sides will not allow the enemy's cowardly behavior to destroy this relationship.

At present, the Russian Embassy in Afghanistan announced the suspension of all consular services. On the 6th, the UN Secretary -General Gutres issued a statement to express condolences to the victims and their families, and strongly condemned the attack. The United Nations Afghanistan aid delegation said through social media that it called on Afghanistan to take more effective measures to ensure the security of the people and diplomatic envoys in Afghanistan.
