Sky News: Macron called on the French people to turn off the air conditioner and heating, otherwise power off

The British Sky News Station reported that the French president warned that it was formulating an energy distribution plan for this winter, and the conscious efforts of "prevention" were not enough.

Mr. Macron urged people to turn off heating and air conditioning, because "the best energy is the energy we do not consume", and added that forced cutting "will be the last means."

After holding a virtual meeting with German Chancellor Olav Schultz, Mr. Macron announced a plan to increase the supply of natural gas from France to Germany to make up for the decline in Russia's natural gas supply.

Germany rely more on Russia's natural gas than most EU countries.

Mr. Macron said that in return, Germany will continue to supply power to France to make up for the power shortage caused by the French nuclear reactor for maintenance.
