International Atomic Energy Agency: The last transmission line of Zapolo Nuclear Power Station is interrupted

The International Atomic Energy Agency said on September 3, local time that the last line connected to the external grid of the Zapolo Nuclear Power Station could not continue to work, but the nuclear power plant continued to power the power grid through a backup line.

Ukrainian staff told the UN nuclear supervisory agencies currently stationed at the Zapolo Nuclear Power Station that after losing the three lines, the 750 kV power supply lines in the fourth operation of the site no longer work.

Earlier that day, the Enelgodar government announced that the power supply line was interrupted by the power supply route to the Ukraine Power Power Station due to the shelling of the power supply line.
