American polls: Two of the 10 Americans have experienced or experienced the violence of guns around

Xinhua News Agency, Chicago, September 1st (Reporter Xu Jing) A polls recently held by the Harris School of Public Policy and the Associated Press Public Affairs Research Center of the University of Chicago in the United States found that two of the 10 Americans or experienced themselves experienced themselves. The survey found that African and Spanish adults have greater opportunities to become violent victims of guns. 54%of African and 27%of the Spanish Americans reported that in the past 5 years, they, or friends, or family members have experienced the violence of guns. The proportion of white people in the United States is only 13%. In general, 21%of the American adults have a personal experience on gun violence, such as threats to guns, or victims of shooting.
The survey shows that most Americans believe that gun violence in the United States and states is increasing. 59%of African and 45%of the Spanish Americans believe that the violence of firearms in the community living shows a rise. The proportion of White in the United States holds the same view is 34%. The proportion of interviewees who believed that the increase in gun violence in the community came from the urban, suburbs and villages, respectively 51%, 39%, and 27%, respectively.
A total of 1373 people participated in the polls conducted from July 28th to August 1st.
