Russia confirmed that the "Beixi-1" pipeline was suspended

On August 31st, Russia wrote in social media: "Because the gas station began to repair today, 'Beixi-1' Natural Gas Pipeline has suspended Qi." Shang said that natural gas supply stopped at 00:00 on August 31st and 1:00 on August 31st.

This is the second time "Beixi-1" after 10 days after "break" in July, the second time was suspended. According to Russia, this time it is the only turbine that is still running at the Poltovar Press Station, and Russia will complete it with experts from German Siemens.

Siemens has previously repaired the compressor and turbine of this air -stroke station. In response to this component maintenance, the spokesman of this company responded on August 31st, and did not participate in it at this stage. However, "if Russia put forward demand, our experts will provide suggestions."

Russia said that after the maintenance is completed, if there is no technical failure, it will restore the current gas supply, that is, 33 million cubic meters per day. It is expected that Greenen will restore gas supply at 1:00 on September 3.

The "Beixi-1" pipeline was completed in 2011. From the east, Russia Veori, via the Baltic sea to Germany, and transporting Russian natural gas to the EU many countries. Russia is the largest shareholder of Beixi Natural Gas Pipeline Company.

Regarding the "Beixi-1" suspension of gas, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said on August 31 that European sanctions against Russia were the cause of this situation.
