They agreed that Brazil would set up a consulate in Chengdu., Guizhou Province, Yunnan Province and Shaanxi Province.This is Brazil's third consulate in Mainland China.

Brazil is one of the most important big powers in Latin America. It is a member of the Guto Group and one of the five countries of the BRICS. It is an emerging market country and developing country. It is the largest trading partner in Latin America in Sichuan Province.The establishment of a consulate in Sichuan in Sichuan will actively promote the cooperation between Sichuan and Brazil and Latin American countries in terms of investment, trade, and humanistic exchanges to promote exchanges and cooperation into a new stage.
