Iranian Foreign Minister: The United States needs to make a "more powerful guarantee" in the Iran nuclear agreement to restore the performance.

Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, August 31st (Reporter Gao Wencheng) Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahiyang said on August 31 that Iran needs the United States to make "more powerful and more reliable guarantees" in the Iranian nuclear issues.

According to the Iranian Mind News Agency, Abdullahiyan made the above statement when he met with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov during his visit to Russia. Abdullahiyan said that the Iraqi side is reviewing the latest case proposed by the United States to restore the implementation of the Iran nuclear agreement.

Abdullahiyan does not have a specific explanation of what guarantees need to be explained. Earlier media reports that Iran asked the United States to guarantee that if it withdrawn from the Iran nuclear agreement, Iran's economic interests must be guaranteed, and the United States has to pay a price.

Abdullahiyan said that Iran is considering the US proposal. Once the review is completed, it will be answered through EU coordinators. "Iran is seriously treating a good, powerful and lasting agreement."

Abdullahiyan also called on international atomic agencies to stay away from politics and focus on technical responsibilities.

On the 8th of this month, the European Union submitted a "final text" about the restoration of the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement to resume the 2015 Iraqi Nuclear Agreement. Iran made a formal response to the text on the 15th and gave a modification proposal. On the 24th, the Iran received a response from the United States to Iran's proposal.

In July 2015, Iran reached an Iran nuclear agreement with the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany. In May 2018, the United States unilaterally withdrew the agreement, and then restarted and added a series of sanctions on Iran. Since May 2019, Iran has gradually suspended the performance of some of the agreement, but promised to take measures "reversible". Since April 2021, the Iranian nuclear agreement has held multiple rounds of talks in Vienna, Austria, to discuss the recovery of the United States and Iraq, and the United States has involved in negotiations indirectly.
