[Global Times Comprehensive Report] French law stipulates that the private swimming pool must be reported to the tax department after completion. For example, there is a 30 -square -meter swimming pool in the family, which has an additional 200 euros taxes every year, so many households are unwilling to declare truthfully. According to the French News Network reported on the 29th, the country's tax authorities found up to 20,000 unsusted private swimming pools through an artificial intelligence identification system, with a cumulative tax evasion of about 10 million euros.
It is reported that the artificial intelligence system can identify the swimming pool through high -altitude images and verify and compare it with the French government's land registration database. According to information released by the French tax department, 20,356 unregistered private swimming pools were successfully found in nine regions in 2021. However, some people complain that there are errors in the system, such as often mistakenly considering the swimming pool, or it is difficult to identify the swimming pool hidden under the shelter and waterproof cloth.

It is reported that there are about 3.2 million private swimming pools in France. As more and more people work at home due to the epidemic, the demand for the private swimming pool has also surged. Due to the good results of the new system, the French government plans to promote and use it from September. The French Finance Bureau estimates that after the national promotion, the government will receive an additional 40 million euros tax next year.
