Tocaev pointed out that the total economic volume of Eurasian Economic Union has more than $ 2 trillion. In 2021, the country's mutual trade volume was about $ 73 billion, and the trade volume between Kazakhstan and Russia exceeded US $ 25 billion in 2021. In the first quarter of 2022, bilateral trade reached US $ 5.8 billion, an increase of 12.5%year -on -year.

In this regard, Toccyev proposed that the Eurasian Economic Alliance in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Gilgisan and Armenia should adopt more active and flexible trade policies to seek a wide range of markets covering Asia and the Middle East.

Tocaev also emphasized that deepening cooperation with China is an extremely important task. "In the next ten years, traditional friendly countries such as China, India and the Middle East, Oceania and other regions may become the main investors in the economy in the region. China has become a region. The main economic and trade partners in Kazakhstan, deepening cooperation with my country is an important task of China. "

In addition, he also said, "jointly creating a group of breakthrough innovative technology projects and transportation and logistics chains will create new opportunities for economic growth of the two countries."

Tokaev pointed out that building a peaceful, stable and economical Eurasia will become a favorable factor for sustainable development and inclusive growth worldwide.

After all the meeting, Tocaev met with Russian President Putin. During the talks, the leaders of the two countries discussed in detail the current status and prospects of the development of economic and trade cooperation in Harbin.
