In the past ten years, the high -quality and innovative development of China Radio and Television and the audiovisual industry has achieved remarkable results, and its own good development has also better benefited from African countries. China has been actively supporting the digitalization and media capabilities of African radio and television, and has implemented multiple infrastructure aid projects. The Beijing Radio and Television Bureau has promoted the common prosperity of China -Africa TV and audiovisual industries through the support of corporate technology, equipment, and talents.

Over the years, many African countries such as Nigeria, Rwanda, Malawi, and Mozambique have benefited from the satellite television projects assisted by China -the "Wancun Tong" project. This project is one of the China -Africa -African humanities cooperation plans proposed by the China -Africa Cooperation Forum Johannesburg Summit in 2015. It aims to achieve satellite TV programs for a total of 10,112 villages in 23 countries in Africa and establish a sustainable development and operation system. This project is constructed by Beijing companies in Africa.

In 2021, the "Wancun Tong" project launched the second batch of villages in Uganda, Burundi, Senegal and other countries, respectively. Among them, the construction of 400 aid villages in Uganda launched the construction in August and has been completed. Burundi 200 villages and Senegal 300 villages are also under construction. As of early December 2021, the "Wancuntong" project has successfully completed the project acceptance of 20 countries in Africa, covering 8612 villages in Africa, directly benefiting more than 172,000 families, and achieving more than 6.5 million people.

In order to promote the realization of African radio and television from simulation to digitalization, the "Wancun Tong" project undertakes the overall conversion mode including "digitalization of program sources, digitalization of broadcast control systems, digitalization of networks, and digitalization of user terminals", and successive one after another, one after another, one after another, one after another, it has successively successively. In June 2016, Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation and China Beijing Enterprises set up a joint venture company TOPSTAR to complete Zambia's digital TV transfer work.
In October 2020, the Chinese government provided a preferential loan and the digital distribution project of Mozambique Radio and Television undertaken by Beijing enterprises. The content of the project mainly includes the construction of digital transmission networks covering Mozambique nationwide, digital transformation of national television stations, national digital television terminal construction, and Mofang personnel training. More and more African countries benefit from China aid or digital television projects that cooperate with China, enhance information acquisition capabilities, and open windows that communicate with the world.
