The first "common vision" peacekeeping international forum organized by the Ministry of Defense's peacekeeping affairs center was held in Beijing a few days ago. Peacekeeping operations face new challenges

At the same time, many participants mentioned the negative impact of false information on the United Nations peacekeeping operation in the speech. Obrain, deputy military consultant of the United Nations Department of Peace Action, said that due to false news, people in Mali, China Africa, and Congo (Gold) have hostile to peacekeeping special groups, causing attacks against peacekeeping camps and teams.

Peacekeeping operations should play a greater role

Participants generally believe that the international community should jointly participate in the promotion of reform, so that the United Nations peacekeeping operations play a greater role in maintaining world peace and promoting common development.

The French military representative in the United Nations Deutonbe said that practicing multilateralism is the best countermeasure to respond to the threat of international security. The United Nations peacekeeping operation is an example. Ruiden also believes that firm multilateralism and global unity are the most effective countermeasures to deal with common challenges. The United Nations peacekeeping operation can develop more tools to deal with challenges in new ways.

Constructing a new type of peacekeeping partnership

Peace and security are inseparable, and the fate of human beings will be rested together.

The United Nations peacekeeping region is mainly concentrated in Africa, and the African Union has accumulated a lot of beneficial practice in maintaining the peace and security of the region. The representative of the African Union Participation Bach fully affirmed the partnership of the United Nations and the African Union on peacekeeping affairs, and thanked the international community for their support in maintaining Africa's security and stability and fighting against the new crown pneumonia.

Facing many challenges such as intensified climate change, increased false information, and continuous violence attacks, it is imminent to strengthen the capacity building of peacekeeping personnel in the task area. Lakhman, director of the Education Captain of the Bangladesh State Peace Support Action Training Center, pointed out that cooperation and exchange activities such as training and seminars, joint research, and information sharing between peacekeeping training institutions have become an important way for the reconstruction capabilities of the military country.

"Strengthening ability construction and sharing experience and practices can improve the effectiveness of peacekeeping special groups."
