German consumer confidence first index is innovative and low

The report said that in the three indicators reflecting German consumer confidence, the economic prospects and revenue expected indicators rose slightly from the previous month, but the seventh consecutive month of purchase index declined to the lowest value since October 2008.

The report also adjusted the index of German consumer confidence from 30.6 points to negative 30.9 points at the same time.

Gefukai expert Rocff Bilkler said in a statement on the same day that because of concerns that energy expenditure may rise sharply in the next few months, many families have taken preventive measures to reduce other aspects of expenditure.

Since 1980, Gefukai has conducted questionnaires for confidence indexes in about 2,000 German consumers every month.This index is a leading indicator of German economic trends and residents' consumption trends.
