Wang Wenbin said that the Chinese government attaches great importance to strengthening China -Africa agricultural cooperation and actively promoting imported agricultural products from Africa. Since the 2018 China -Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit, 25 kinds of agricultural food products in 14 African countries including Kenya, South Africa, Benin, and Egypt have completed their access to China. China is the second largest destination country of African agricultural exports. In recent years, the average annual growth rate of African agricultural products exports to China has reached 11.4%. In 2021, Africa's exports to China ’s agricultural products increased by 18.2%year -on -year.

Wang Wenbin said that at the eighth ministerial meeting of the China -Africa Cooperation Forum held in November last year, China announced the establishment of a "green channel" for the losses of African agricultural products. The China Customs General Administration has actively implemented and formulated practical and feasible access convenience measures: First, the application for agricultural product access proposed by African countries is given priority. After receiving the relevant technical information, the risk analysis is immediately launched to accelerate the promotion of quarantine access access. Work; second, for some agricultural products from the same country and processing technology, or the same agricultural product from different countries, under the premise of controllable risks, the risk assessment is merged to speed up the access process; the third is that the African countries have already been in African countries. Enterprises that have been approved to enter agricultural products are convenient for registration, and flexible methods such as video inspection or file review have accelerated evaluation and registration. "It is understood that the Chinese competent department will also host the China -Africa and Botanical Sanitation Forum to support and facilitate more African high -quality farm food products to enter the Chinese market."
