On August 11, local time, the Gambian disaster agency stated in a report that Gambia has recently suffered the worst flood in 50 years, causing 11 people to die and more than 5,000 people displaced.
Relevant agencies show that the floods caught 37104 people, including 7,843 children aged 0 to 5, and 2,446 pregnant women and lactating women.According to the analysis of satellite images, the country's 48127 hectares of land were flooded.
