Overseas Network, August 12th. According to the Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean government announced on August 12th to the "Light Rehabilitation" amnesty list. Samsung Electronics Vice President and head of Samsung Group Li Zaiyu obtained amnesty and rehabilitation.

In January 2021, Li Zaiyu was sentenced to two and a half years in the second trial of the bribery case and was arrested in court.The court found that Li Zaiyu implemented a bribe of 8.68 billion won (about 51 million yuan) to Park Geun -hye and his relative Cui Shun in exchange for the government to support him to inherit the management rights of Samsung Group.In August of that year, Li Zaiyu was released in prison in advance.

After Li Zaiyu was released on parole, he was still restricted for 5 years.This re -rights enable him to restore business activities.
