On August 8th local time, former US President Trump issued a statement on a social platform created by his personal team saying that the FBI "assault searches" on the day of the Haihu Manor in Palm Beach, Florida. The FBI and the Ministry of Justice have not responded to this.
Trump said that on the same day, his Haihu Manor was surrounded by a large group of federal investigating bureau and was searched. Trump said the Federal Investigation Bureau did not notify him before. He also accused Democrats of treating the judicial system as a weapon against him in an attempt to prevent him from participating in the US presidential election in 2024.
Earlier this year, the National Archives and Record Administration announced that 15 boxes of White House confidential documents were found in Haihu Manor, and these documents should be transferred to the relevant departments when Trump stepped down as president. The U.S. Department of Justice subsequently launched an investigation.
