According to foreign media reports, this week, the Indian police arrested the 65 -year -old Indian soldier Om Prakash in the slum in Gazada. He was included in the list of "Number of Man" by Hariana Police in northern India for suspected robbery and murder and escaped for 30 years. For 30 years, he has hidden in the neighboring northern state. There, he began a new life, married a local woman, and had three children.
Police said Oum Prakash was arrested and predered: driving a truck to patrol nearby villages, chorus devout songs in a religious field, and even starred in 28 local films with low budgets.

At present, Om has been detained and has not yet expressed any opinions on detention, but the police claimed that Om was suspected of participating in the murder of 1992.
Om lives in the slums in the city of Gazad, and the labyrinth alleys are very narrow. Om and his wife, Rajkumari, married in 1997 for 25 years. Rajkuma and the three children were shocked to hear Om's crimes, saying that they did not know, and did not have a positive evaluation of Om.
Rajkuman also accused Om's betrayal, "I married him in 1997, and I didn't know he was married at all. There was a family in Harriana."
The true identity of "Number of Numbers" Oum Placash is a truck driver of the army
Kumal, a resident of Narana, Panpat District, Harria, said, "Omprakash has been a truck driver for 12 years in the signaling corps of the Indian army and was fired for four years in 1988 for four years. "
Kumar said that Om had repeatedly violated the law before he murdered. It is said that in 1986, Om stole a car, and four years later, a motorcycle, a sewing machine and a pedal car were stolen. Police said these crimes occurred in different areas. In some areas, Om was released after arrest.
In January 1992, Om and another man tried to rob a man riding a bicycle. Kumar said, "When the man resisted, they stabbed him. Later, a group of villagers came, and they left the motorcycle to escape."
The second man was arrested and spent seven or eight years in prison, but Omprakash disappeared.
According to Om's mouth, in the first year after the murder, he took refuge in the temples of Tamil Nadang and Andela in the south. One year later, he returned to northern India, but did not go home, but settled in Gaz Abada at 180 kilometers away and found a truck.
In 1997, Rajkoman married him. In the 1990s, he operated a store selling and renting a movie video machine. Due to his soldier career, the locals called him uncle soldiers.
Since 2007, Om has also played a small role in local Indian movies, playing the village chief, villain, and even police officers. One of the films has been watched 7.6 million times on the Internet.
Oum received a new set of official documents, including voter cards and ID cards. But the police said that Om committed a fatal error that all his new documents include the real name of him and his father.
His wife Rajkoman's statement: I don't know about Om’s crime
Om's new family and neighbors said that Om's "crime passed" was not clear, and the police agreed to it.
Rajakman said that after marriage, she really realized that Om hid something. Om took her to the village of Nalana and introduced her brother and family to her.
A few years later, she said, "One day, his first wife appeared outside our house and created a commotion, and she found his early marriage."
"Just then, all our neighbors found that he had another life -his wife and son that he had been hidden. We felt betrayed."
Rajkomali said that the work of Om long -distance truck drivers made him absent for a long time in the marriage, but now she insisted that it was because Om and the previous family stayed together.
The couple often quarreled and the relationship continued to deteriorate. In 2007, Om disappeared again.
"I have enough. I went to the local government office and ended the relationship with his husband and wife in writing. But seven years later, he returned and kept coming intermittently." Rajakman said.
"He named us, but whenever he came, he would give him some food because he was our father, and he was old." His 14 -year -old daughter added.
Prior to this, Om was taken away by the Harina Police for suspected theft.
"He stayed in prison for six or seven months, but he came back and told us that all his crimes were not established," she said.
Despite the arrest, he was still on the list of fugitives in the murder, because police in different regions rarely shared information with each other.
Police's tracking of Om
In 2020, Harrya, India, established a special working group, mainly focusing on organizational crimes, anti -drugs, terrorism and cases involving cross -state circles. A year later, Oum Placash's archives were restarted. Police listed him on the list of "Numbers of Numbers" and rewarded 25,000 rupees (2,130 yuan).
In the past, there were also cases that were escaping for a long time, or even decades of criminals. However, the senior reporter of the Indian Express Amir Bartngger said that "police usually re -examine the suspension case involving terrorism or serial murders or receiving reports." It is unclear why the police decided to re -investigate the case. Two months ago, the police went to the Village of Nalana to ask people in their 50s and 60s.
As a result, the police got the first clue. About 20 years ago, Om came to this village and may live somewhere in North Fangbang.
The second clue is a phone number registered in the name of Om, and the police track his new address via this phone number.
The police took a week to determine his home. Police claim that they are also difficult to identify, because they have only one photo of 30 years old, and now Om looks very different.
"We want to make sure that the person we find is Oum Placash." Police said, "This operation was carried out under absolute confidentiality, because we were worried about a little careless, and he would run away for 30 years. "
The hard work of the police has just begun
Mr. Butnagal said the police's real hard work began.
"They must prove that they have found the right person in court. The court will review his identity and whether he has committed his charges."
Mr. Butnagal said that considering that the crime occurred decades ago, the quality of the evidence will also become the focus. Trial cases will be a difficult task for police and prosecutors.
When his wife Rajkumar was asked if he wanted to see Om, she said, "The police said that if we want to see him, we must submit our ID card, but I don't want to do it. What are the benefits of this?"
